suddenly the last many months of my life make some sort of sense i couldn't make of them yesterday. through an amazing book, many smiles, a meditation, a doctor's appointment, an airplane ticket, a walk on a summer night and a dance with body memories :) life's funny, how things change when nothing has really changed, it's all in us, always. and it's never about what we have or about the things that happen to us, it's about what we do with those things, and the quality with which we do them xx

indonesia

in less than 3 months i'm off to indo :) can't really say why... i remember a long time ago meeting people who had been traveling there and i didn't feel much interest in the place. it wasn't the time to go. now it's time, and there's no real explanation.
some time ago i had my flight with biman airlines delayed for a whole day and i was stuck at the airport in dhakka, bangladesh... thankfully i met a really cool couple from mallorca, with whom i ended up going out for dinner in hong kong on the last night of my 1 year asia trip. they had loved traveling in indonesia and gave me a list of magical places to explore in the island flores. i kept the list even though indonesia didn't attract me then. now it's been over 4 years and i can't wait to go look those places up **
i often don't know why i want to go somewhere and i'm not really looking for anything in particular. i just know where to go and i go there.
